Services
At Positive Connections, mental health care is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each person’s unique experience. The practice is built around a patient‑centered, non‑judgmental, and holistic approach, honoring the connection between mind, body, and environment. Every session is designed to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered as you move toward meaningful change.

Your care begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This in‑depth conversation helps us understand your experiences, goals, and medical history in a way that feels structured yet comfortable. We’ll explore what has been working for you, what hasn’t, and what balance and stability look like in your life.
The purpose of this evaluation is to form a clear, thoughtful understanding of your needs so we can create a personalized treatment plan. Depending on your goals, this plan may include medication management, supportive therapy, or other wellness‑focused recommendations. Evaluations are collaborative and judgment‑free — a space where you can speak openly and be heard.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I offer individualized medication management for a wide range of mental health needs. Medication can be a helpful part of treatment, but it is never the entire picture. I work closely with you to understand your symptoms, history, and goals so we can make informed decisions together.
Medication management includes:
Ongoing assessment of symptoms and progress
Education about medication options
Collaborative adjustments to ensure safety and effectiveness
A supportive space to discuss concerns, questions, and preferences
My goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and actively involved in your treatment plan.

Supportive therapy provides a grounded, compassionate space to explore challenges, strengthen coping skills, and build resilience. Sessions focus on emotional support, practical strategies, and connection — whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or simply seeking a place to reflect and grow.
Supportive therapy can be offered on its own or integrated with medication management for a more comprehensive approach.

In addition to traditional services, I offer psychedelic‑informed support for individuals exploring or reflecting on non‑ordinary states of consciousness. I completed the Vital: Integrative Psychedelic Studies program, which provides advanced training in preparation, harm‑reduction, and integration practices.
These services are educational, supportive, and non‑judgmental. While I do not provide or administer psychedelic substances, I can help you:
Prepare emotionally and mentally for psychedelic experiences
Reduce harm by discussing safety, mindset, environment, and risk factors
Integrate insights afterward in a grounded, therapeutic way
This work aligns with the core values of Positive Connections: supporting the whole person, honoring mind‑body relationships, and helping you move forward with clarity, intention, and stability.
A Connected Approach to Care
Healing is not linear, and it is not something you have to navigate alone. My practice emphasizes positive connections — to yourself, to others, and to the parts of life that bring meaning and balance. Whether through medication management, supportive therapy, or psychedelic‑informed integration, I aim to create a safe, collaborative environment where you can grow at your own pace.
