About Positive Connections
Positive Connections is built on the belief that meaningful mental health care begins with collaborative treatment, genuine human connection, and a commitment to seeing each patient as a whole person—not a diagnosis. My approach is evidence‑based, patient‑centered, and rooted in the understanding that wellbeing is shaped by many factors: emotional, physical, social, and personal.
As a psychiatric provider, my primary role is medication management. I work closely with each patient to ensure that medication decisions are thoughtful, individualized, and aligned with their goals. I believe that medications can be powerful tools, but they are only one part of a comprehensive plan for healing and growth.
Alongside medication management, I also offer supportive therapy to help patients navigate challenges, build resilience, and strengthen their overall wellbeing. Therapy sessions provide a space for reflection, emotional processing, and practical strategies that support everyday life.
At Positive Connections, treatment is a partnership. I listen carefully, collaborate openly, and tailor care to each person’s unique experiences and needs. My goal is to help patients feel understood, empowered, and supported as they move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Mission Statement
At Positive Connections, my mission is to provide evidence‑based, patient‑centered, and collaborative mental health care that supports the whole person. I recognize that progress isn’t linear—healing unfolds in cycles of growth, reflection, and renewal. Through compassionate partnership, I foster an environment where patients can explore challenges, celebrate progress, and continue moving forward at their own pace.
Connection is at the heart of this work. I believe that meaningful relationships—between provider and patient, and within each person’s broader support network—are essential to lasting wellbeing. By integrating thoughtful medication management and supportive therapy, Positive Connections helps each individual feel understood, empowered, and connected as they grow toward balance and healing.
Patients are welcomed for in‑person visits in Dexter and telehealth appointments are offered across the state, so care is always within reach—wherever you are.
